Tight end John Rabe of Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa was one of the first players to commit to Northern Illinois for the class of 2011. When the staff left for Minnesota Rabe hoped that he would be able to follow them to Minneapolis. His wish came true last week when the Gopher staff extended an offer. Rabe committed on the spot and will take his first visit to campus this weekend.
