4* RB reflects on NW trip

Duck Sports Authority San Jose-area running back Byron Marshall is one of the most coveted athletes in the country. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Marshall to get the latest on his recruitment.
With a couple dozen offers in hand and counting, the nations' #6-rated ball-carrier is loaded with physical talent. A quick film study reveals speed, elusiveness with a nice dash of power. DSA asked Marshall the last time he was timed.
"I was timed this summer at 4.4. It was hand timing."
At 5-foot-10, 195 pounds, Marshall also has the type of frame to pack a punch.
"I'm strong," conceded Marshall. "I've got good numbers in the weight room. When I run I tend to use more speed and elusiveness than power but if I need to use power I definitely will. If you watch me play it is apparent I have it."
Because of their league scheduling, Marshall has not had a chance to play in his first senior season game.
"We had a bye in our first week and so our first game is coming up Saturday," explained Marshall. "We did have a scrimmage scheduled but they cancelled on us. So there is a lot of anxiety waiting to get out there."
Marshall made a tour of the northwest Pac-12 schools in August. Immediately afterward the trip had made a strong impression. A month later, it has helped provide clarity to his choices.
