Aggie seniors set to play at Kyle for last time

AggieYell.com All the news in College Station heading into the regular season finale against Texas Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Kyle Field has surrounded the future of head coach Dennis Franchione and any possible successors. Lost in the shuffle is the fact that a number of Aggies will, matter of fact, definitely be playing their last game on Kyle Field in an Aggie uniform.
Those seniors, the high school class of 2003, were the first players to be recruiting by Franchione and the first full class to play all their years in the maroon and white for him.
"It's always emotional when you reach this game from a standpoint, for me, the seniors," Franchione said. "These seniors and I have been through a lot together, and I think it's probably vivid to you that this senior class and I have a little bit of a special bond. I've said for three or four months or maybe longer that I'm not looking forward to this senior class departing. They have been stalwarts in character, team, leadership, work ethic, fun and with great attitudes. We've been through so much together so my emotions are tied to their last game at Kyle."
