The offer that many Ohio State fans had been eagerly anticipating went out late on Wednesday evening as the Buckeyes extended a verbal tender to Centerville (Ohio) offensive tackle Evan Lisle. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound four-star prospect was told by Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer at a recent junior day to not be concerned about getting an offer from the Buckeyes and Meyer has now followed through on those words.

"I just wanted to let you know that Ohio State just offered me," Lisle told BuckeyeGrove.com via text on Wednesday night.

The Ohio State offer wasn't the only big offer Lisle pulled in on Wednesday, as just a few hours prior to the Buckeyes pulling the trigger, defending national champion Alabama also came through. Lisle now holds a dozen offers from some of the top programs in the nation and is one of the hottest prospects on the recruiting trail at the moment with big offers rolling in at a steady pace.

Lisle is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and the No. 83 overall player in the nation. Lisle is also the No. 4 rated prospect in Ohio by BuckeyeGrove.com as well as the number one offensive lineman in the state.
