PA receiver looking for offer
Tyler Boyd from Clairton (Pa.) has seen his recruiting pick up over the last couple of weeks when he went from no offers to almost double digits. One school that has not offered, but could be close is Syracuse.
"I have not got an offer from Syracuse yet. As of Right now though they are showing me a lot of interest."
Boyd, 6-foot-1, 168 pounds is in fact hoping the Orange pull the trigger and offer him.
"An offer from Syracuse would mean a lot. I know they are really interested in me and I could be a difference maker for them. They have a good up and coming team with great academics," Boyd said. "I think they are a great school. I think a lot of people doubt Syracuse just because they are not like a USC or something like that. They are always up there though."
Greg Adkins is recruiting the keystone State product and the coach could see his recruiting target on campus soon.
"I am going to try and make it up to Syracuse for a spring practice."
If Boyd does decide to pick Syracuse as his college he already knows how he will be used in the offense.
"Syracuse is looking at me as the "X" receiver I think, the slot. "
Outside of Syracuse there are a bunch of schools looking to grab Boyd in the class of 2013.
"I have offers from Pittsburgh, Akron, Arizona, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Penn State, Rutgers, and Boston College right now. I think Wisconsin, Purdue, and Notre Dame could offer soon."
With the growing offer list a decision will not come soon.
"I am just going to wait this process out."
