The 2024 season has reached the final stages as both the NJCAA and 3C2A ranks have determined the playoff teams. As many as eight teams are still in the hunt with a handful of games remaining.
The California ranks have an eight-team playoff with four teams representing both the north and the south. In Northern California No. 6 College of San Mateo will host No. 21 American River while No. 9 Modesto will host No. 15 Fresno City. The South will see No. 1 Mt. San Antonio hosting No. 28 El Camino while No. 3 Riverside City will host No. 18 San Diego Mesa. All of the playoff games are this Saturday. We are still trying to figure out how No. 8 Butte was left out the playoffs as the Roadrunners finished 9-1, but sometimes tiebreakers can be tricky.
The NJCAA ranks will start the playoffs on December 6 when No. 2 Iowa Western hosts No. 4 Northwest. The second semifinal will take place on December 8 when No. 5 Hutchinson travels to No. 7 Georgia Military.
It is unclear as to how many bowls the NJCAA ranks has this year. We know that No. 26 College of DuPage will host Louisburg College on December 7 in what is being called the DIII championship game. On the same day No. 14 Coffeyville will play No. 17 Navarro in the CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl in Commerce, Texas. The NJCAA also has a game planned for December 8 when No. 33 North Dakota State College of Science plays No. 46 Iowa Central in the Game One Bowl in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The rest of the Dirty 30 Rankings follow. Just a reminder, the Dirty 30 Rankings do not include games against club teams, prep schools, non-CCCAA, non-NJCAA or non-HJCAC programs in its rankings.
