2023 season recap: "Our season was kind of tough. Our defense was good, but our offense struggled at times. For me, it was good. I didn't play at SMU since I redshirted, so going to Laney was good since it was only my third year playing football. I started playing my senior year since I played mostly basketball. Playing at Laney was really my first season of playing true football, and it was a great jumpstart season, which allowed me to see where my game was before going to Tyler. Overall, it was a good season for me. I received three offers, made some plays, and made all-conference."
