Shasta College wide receiver Jahari Johnson committed to San Jose State on December 24. JCGridiron spoke with him to discuss his commitment to the Spartans and recruitment.

What you need to know:

...San Jose State offered him on December 22.

...Johnson also had offers from Utah Tech, East Texas A&M, Alcorn State, Eastern Washington, and Utah State.

...This season, he finished with 73 receptions for 1,180 yards and 15 touchdowns in 10 games for the Knights.

...Johnson was named a First-Team All-American selection by 3C2A (California Community College Athletic Association).
