College of San Mateo inside linebacker Malaki Te'o recently picked up his first two offers. Sacramento State was the first to offer him when he was on campus for the Hornets game against Eastern Washington on October 10. The following day, New Mexico became the second program to offer him.

...In 2022, he was rated a 5.5, three-star recruit out of Mater Dei High School and committed to Hawaii.
...In six games for the Bulldogs this season, he has 23 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and a pass breakup.
