For a recruit, receiving that first initial offer is the most difficult to get, whether it's a Division 1 FBS, FCS, Division 2, etc. Once they receive it, more tend to follow, sometimes in abundance. For Trinity Valley Community College cornerback Jerrick Harper, that was the case as he received his first FBS offer from Louisiana-Monroe on August 26. That was followed by another from Texas State later that day and then a couple more from Eastern Michigan and Massachusetts a couple of days later.
