Ventura College LB Ty Ely talks OV to Eastern Illinois and recruitment
Ventura College outside linebacker Ty Ely took an official visit to Eastern Illinois on December 13. JCGridiron spoke with him to recap his time in Charleston and visit with the Panthers.

Ely also has offers from Mississippi Valley State and Mercyhurst.
...This season, he finished with 48 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and 2.5 sacks in 11 games for the Pirates.
...He was named a Second-Team Southern California Football Association Northern Conference selection.
